Chef, Yes, you will eventually get used to hearing your own voice/mando. That's not to say you'll be okay with it... just used to it :) I would (and do) opine that one absolutely must listen to oneself play and sing regularly in order to improve. Doing so is quite the ear opener to be sure and is oftentimes painful, yes... I record all of my shows and as the saying goes, the truth hurts... I'm still waiting for the "set me free" part
