Evenin' to you all... Mikey, I like hearing you talk like this...makes me know that you're still,after many years,not just trying to be/play better..you're actually wanting to make yourself better. I knew another man like that...you did too. Most players that reach the stature that you have are completely content to just remain there . We all know some of 'em . I've watched you when you are playing..and the music starts taking over your being and especially if you've got a good strong rhythm going..you just waltz on the strings of your mandolin...that's a good thing,Mikey, and I venture to say that's when and where you hear/find the new sounds and notes that indeed does broaden your musical thinking and adds to your style of playing...and it's a lovely style...
Not trying to impress you or make yoshiny head any bigger...you are one of very few that have reached the musical level that you set on. I love the way you are humble about it....but I think you are the man on the mandolin..as does many more....behave .
