That tab must have been made from that recording, it's pretty much note for note the same. I'm very lucky to have Tatiana living close by and she is stuck here for a couple more years as she hasn't finished high school yet. Another thing to be thankful for. My Thankful list is very long, seems that I'm very lucky. Life is good. I'm very Thankful for this group, lots of talent, great ideas, great music, but more important, to me, lots of very nice folks, I feel like I'm with friends when I'm on this list. And many, many Thanks to Mike, you make it better. The tune is the Mississippi version of "Grub Springs" played by John Hatcher. Some of you may have learned a bit of this on lesson day. I have posted the notation/tab on the 'files' section of the group. Snag it before January or it'll be gone. There is a video of Clelia Stefanini and Tatiana Hargreaves playing this tune on Youtube. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CoW3ac31gvU As I hear it, there's really only A and G chords in this with a whisper of E on the ends. This tune is one I've been wanting to get a better grip on myself. The hard part for me is to get around the restrictions the frets put on the slides and drags, especially in the B section. Several ways to order the parts. You all play it how it suits you. I have my way. The tune is played out of standard tuning, but could be moved to AEAE. On a side note, Happy Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for you all. The world's a better place with you in it. Life is good. mistertaterbug -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Taterbugmando" group.
