All of the above is just my opinion. Others might see that differently and prefer to wait a long time and then have a hundred new things to test at the same time, and discover that another hundred old things don't work any more. I myself prefer smaller steps, more beta versions with small fixes. We don't need guarantees that it has been fixed, we need to test it. Point in case: Even though it has been fixed on your computer, it hasn't been fixed on mine! The question posted in the subject line still stands: When are we going to get the fix? I won't download the first beta with the IMAP changes, I'll leave that to the people who use IMAP and will deal with the new bugs. I do need this new beta bug to be fixed though.
