No conspiracy theory. It's just that we, over here on the beta list,
want something to play with.

All of the above is just my opinion. Others might see that differently
and prefer to wait a long time and then have a hundred new things to
test at the same time, and discover that another hundred old things
don't work any more. I myself prefer smaller steps, more beta versions
with small fixes. We don't need guarantees that it has been fixed, we
need to test it. Point in case: Even though it has been fixed on your
computer, it hasn't been fixed on mine!

The question posted in the subject line still stands: When are we
going to get the fix?

I won't download the first beta with the IMAP changes, I'll leave that
to the people who use IMAP and will deal with the new bugs. I do need
this new beta bug to be fixed though. Any chance?
