Defining replacement characters would be a nice feature to be implemented. IMO ThunderBird's behaviour is more proper here :) In TB! it's possible to retype a whole name while saving but why to do that manually if there are computers to do borring part :) // especially if it's a compliacted or long file name to be retyped I would be very unhappy if I get an e-mail from a Chinese guy with a file name in Chinese and I would have to retype it..... <lol> I would be blessing you guys for half of the day :) I am sharing an idea with you to make TB! a better product. -- Best regards, RS ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 5.0.12.3 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
