While this may be true, Calypso is now 'dead' and no longer being
developed (or sold if I'm not mistaken). I was also a Calypso user
before switching to The Bat!. In fact I think that storing various
things in more than one file is an advantage. After a while, my
mailbox had grown to 117 MebiByte and that's without attachments which
I had at that time stored externally. Calypso had started to crash
regularly from the time it was even only half as big as that and in
the end the integrity check it would run on the mailbox upon
restarting the program would take more than 15 minutes. I'm not
prepared to wait that long to get back into my mail after a crash.
