The thing is, as long Ritlabs has to depend on an independant developer to write antispam software for TB, they can never guarantee that it is as stable as the main application. These things need to be beta-tested before approved release. The current way, distributing a plugin with the software and then saying "we are not responsible for crashes causes by plugins" is counter-productive. I'd rather recommend external antispam software (there is a lot of well-functioning stuff out there, some have been recoemmend across TB lists) than tell the newbie: "Oh, sorry, yes it was delivered with the product, but the best way to deal with it is, err, delete it." No good. If the user wants to use a plugin, let him choose from the several plugins that are available and ame sure he understands that there is no support, he is doing it at his own risk. -- Cheers, Thomas.
