Frankly speaking, I have no problem with sarcasm or irony. But I will take your question at face value, Miguel, and give you two reasons: 1. I am habituated to a particular behavior that suits my needs. When I click the toolbar button and the CC opens in the foreground and I choose an account from the dropdown menu and the CC opens in the background (all of a sudden with 3.5 for the first time, and I have been using TB since 1.x), the new and unexpected behavior simply irritates me. 2. Often the accounts that I check mail on by choosing an account from a dropdown menu will timeout when checking mail. If the CC opens in the background and the process times out, I might think that there is no new mail in that account when in fact the account was never checked. So it is essential that I observe the progress of the checking when I look at these secondary accounts. Because the CC now opens in the background, I am obliged to do extra work to view the CC, and this extra work - clicking the CC on the task bar - makes my use of TB less convenient. -- Avi Yashar Windows XP Pro SP2 and The Bat!
