Vili, I think people are interested, but maybe they have some
reservations about this type of support. Anyway, in the meantime, if
you are willing to have a look at my OTFE issue, I have set it up on
my desktop - same problem as on my laptop - and I have a licensed
version of TightVNC on my desktop (if that helps).

Basically, this is also 3.5.26 with restored directories. The problem
is that Message Finder is very slow and hangs for an incredible length
of time (or forever) while doing a search that it can accomplish
without difficulty when OTFE is not enabled. In addition, the Stop
button does not stop the search (at least not within the duration of
my patience), and I am compelled to use Ctrl-Alt-Del to exit the
process (and TB).

Well now that I have exercised patience - started a search and went
off to eat breakfast - I notice that the OTFE search does complete
eventually. But it is ridiculously slow. Perhaps the Stop button also
works like that as well.

On top of all this I have noticed one regrettable security lapse in
OTFE. When uninstalling TB via the Control Panel, no password is
required. In other words, anyone could conceivably come along and
uninstall TB and wipe out the working directories, presumably
including all of your message base... although for some puzzling
reason the uninstall pattern seemed to leave my mail directories
behind.
