Yes, GnuPG is part of OpenPG. And now someone wants to say everything
is not safe except for PGP 7 with RSA keys. See

Phil Zimmerman did say that PGP 7 is the best he has ever seen, but he
also said that NAI's new policy is against what he believes in, and
that's why he left.
Seeing what governments do (making laws that ISP's have to provide
facilities to accommodate Echelon/Carnivore, and the phone companies
must provide the possibilitiy to monitor at least xx% of all phone
calls that are going through their services etc) I simply don't
believe in PGP 7, and I don't believe that the old versions have
security holes. Read the article closely and it says that the hole
exists when you let someone else have access to your private keys to
modify them.
Oh well, so why do they make all this panic?: To get everyone to use
PGP 7, or download one of their super "patches" (a patch for GnuPG
already exists, I just read). No thanks.
