Hi, all,
On 25/09/1999, at 06:00,
Paula Ford (mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED])
took a mike and sang on a blues tempo:

PF> It seems to me the best and surest thing to do if you are concerned
PF> about exposing your email address is not include it. It's very simple
PF> for someone on the list to email you directly by either (1) copying your
PF> email address from the display thing or (2) revealing the kludge and
PF> doing a right-click "write message to address" or (3) hitting Reply All
PF> then deleting the list address.
So, I'll change my template. :)

PF> As for the second option, which I have on a list I administer, it may
PF> help, but it's a fairly simple matter for anyone to subscribe to a list
PF> and get at the archives.
Obvious :))) So, no need to change my template : the ugly man can
subscribe and get my address (and yours, TB! people), without going to
the archive !

PF> I personally can't get too agitated about spam. I'm all over the
PF> internet in newsgroups and mailing lists and on the Web, yet I get maybe
PF> an average of 3 spams a day. I get alot more junk mail of the snail
PF> variety and a whole lot more time-wasting email from things I actually
PF> signed up for. :)
;-D
