sorry, bad habbit, normally when I get complaints its something they
want solved.. (g)

Not just the inept ones. I bought one of the first PD-drives (panasonic) but I
should have checked what they used... Essentially all the reviews were
using one scsi card under windows 3.11, so it took me till I located a
beta of the osr2 before my drive worked..
Panasonic/Corel/Adaptec were all involved and believe me, asking them
was utterly useless. Till I asked an engineer who told me they arent
using those drivers themselves, they use the OSR2 of 95.
After that solution was easy (g).

Paula> Thanks for your offer of help, though.
No problem, just intrigued, were they running NT4 or NT5???
It has some very lousy driver support for some printers...
Besides, its always useful to know what doesnt work as nothing is more
frustrating to tell a customer it will all work and then it doesnt..
After all guess who gets blamed!

And the various suggestions were based on some 35 years using
computers of which probably 20 in development/support...

Best regards,

tracer
