I  had  the  same problem 2 or 3 days ago! Were you maybe using Yahoo as
your  mailbox?  This is where I figured the problem was (the same emails
forwarded to another address had the headers OK).

The  problem  turned out to be that the messages had an extra empty line
before  the  last of their headers ("kludges" in the Bat terminology). I
definitely did not want to delete or filter out the messages, so I fixed
them  by  exporting  them to a Unix mailbox, deleting the empty lines by
search-and-replace and reimporting the mailbox. It worked.

BTW. Two features I'd like to see in the Bat
* multiline cookies (why not use the fortune format, with % separator?)
* newsreader  module  :-P  I'm  tired  of switching the mental  keyboard
shortcut map between Bat and Agent.
