Dear Carsten and all TB users,

More a workaround rather than a fix.

I (and I was the one who posted the original problem) need the DUN as
the mailserver task is currently running on my local machine (and that
task has to use DUN). That will change during the year (as soon as we
have a dedicated machine for communication purposes), but nonetheless I
have to solve that problem.

That is quite close, I think. The question still is: why?

I doubt that. If you read my original posting again you will see that
the DUN windows comes up only when sending mail. It does *not* come up
when retrieving mail. On top of that, it does only come up the first
time when sending after launching TB.

Thus it looks like a TB problem to me, not like a Win98 problem. If it
would be a Win98 problem, it would happen always and not only when
sending mail.

Any help from anyone is highly appreciated.

Best regards,
