No. Constructive means you have an idea what to "do", not what to "not
do". (If that is English.) Your suggestion for redirect behaviour
would be to just leave the from addr intact? So you actually want to
hide the fact that you are the one who actually sent this mail to the
final recipient? Remember, the original sender didn't send it to the
one you forward it to, and the final recipient might wonder how the
original sender got his email address, and who the hell really sent
this message to him.

So, if you don't like "by way of", please make a constructive
suggestion.
