That was my thought, as well ... some FTP clients will work with
either, but I'm not certain that the addition of the "ftp://" prefix
wouldn't mess up others. Try Roel's first suggestion of simply
ftp.ritlabs.com.
FWIW, the FTP program I use, LeechFTP, works either way.
