Speaking only for myself, I really prefer lists that don't do that.
I'm intelligent enough to set up filters to put messages in places
where it's obvious what the lists are, and even if I weren't, I'd know
to look at the To: address to figure out what list the message was
from. I feel that the [listname] mangling of the subject line is
entirely unacceptable, if for no other reason it screws up filters
which in TB! either operate on Sender, Receiver, or Kludges[sic], and
the Sender and Receiver ones don't pick up key information sometimes
if the list is BCC'd to. Ok that's bad form, but if I filter on all
headers, then personal responses to posts of mine on lists with that
crap in the subject line end up going into that list's folder, rather
than simply into my inbox.

In other words, why give us so many indications of what list the
message came from when we already have the To: address and in many
cases other headers as well.

The unfortunate thing that TB does is that the message is "apparently
to" "Andrey G. Sergeev \(AKA Andris\)", but the To: address is the
list? Yeah, we've gone around and around on this, but Andrey does not
live at, to the best of my knowledge, [EMAIL PROTECTED] This
is the only reason that "visual filtering" on the To: address might
sometimes fail.

<sigh> What a drag it is, getting old. ;)
