Very many thanks. I seem to have things working OK so far as I can
tell. I had some problems with running ExtraDNS at first. Also my
browser wouldn't work! However it's all good clean fun and such a joy
to be able to send messages with the headers that I want instead of
having to use different things for different ISPs. I had no idea such
a thing was possible. Why does anyone use ISPs SMTP services? How DOES
the VPOP3 method work I wonder? I wish I knew a bit more about such
things. Certainly TheBat cooperates wonderfully well in all such
matters. If only it supported MAPI (which I need for a utility to send
graphics via email), it would be perfect for me. The ability to
reformat quoted text, which I have only seen before in Golded, is
simply wonderful and I use it constantly. But what use is the Ticker I
wonder? I haven't found anything sensible that I can do with it so
far!
