        Heh. I immediately went back to threading by references, because
the first response to your question was not threaded with your message,
even though they shared the same subject. Grrr.

        Anyway, I realize that you apparently have the send/receive
option enabled. I personally disable this and either send my messages
right away via the editor window (this is the main method by far) or
manually from the outbox. I do it this way because of the very problem
you're experiencing. You also have loss of control of the outbox when
every fifteen seconds, without warning, messages that aren't drafts are
sent. Woh there. :-) Leave me out of that one. I've learnt the hard way.
