V4 does not have the restore problem any more, and I would recommend to use the internal back-up function, install the program on the new computer, and restore from the back-up file. In fact, we just had the same question on the German beginner list (also moving v4 from XP to W7), and the user reported that everything went smoothly. The only issue was that the bat didn't flap when new mail had arrived, but it turned out to be a setting in Windows. -- Cheers, Thomas. http://thomas.fernandez.hat-gar-keine-homepage.de/ Message reply created with The Bat! 4.2.44 under Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 3 ________________________________________________ Current version is 4.2.42 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
