Never used AllegroMail, so no comment on it.
ZDNet in general and PCMag in particular like fancy stuff. For email
clients, it means wizards (the more and the fancier the better) and
html mail (this one probably did TB in). They also like to stress
ease of use. TB is probably too complicated for them.
