Hi Fred,

This is not a direct answer to your question, which others have
done. Do you know there's a way to quickly open the reply to a
certain message by pressing Ctrl-Backspace?
If you receive messages from some people often enough to organize
them into individual folders, chances are you have set up "incoming
mail" filter or "read messages" filters for them. In that case, it's
easy to create additional "Outgoing Mail" filters copying the
Incoming/Read filters and drag them into the Out filter category.
The destination folder and filter string would be identical, all you
need to change is the location (from sender to recipient).
For people you don't have enough mail from them to justify a In/Read
filter, then why not just leave the replies in the Sent folder. When
you do need to read the reply you made alongside a message, just
highlight it and press Ctrl-Backspace, and TB would dig out the
reply for you.
I know this isn't exactly what you want, and I know there are other
email clients that do what you want. I'm not saying you can't
suggest new features to RIT, either. I'm just trying to make beter
sense of the way TB works, and for me, it works beautifully.
