Actually, you can display the label for a colour group and sort by
colour groups. Very similar to Eudora, I believe.
To view the label of a colour group, choose View > Message List
Columns. In the Available Items list, select Colour Group and move it
to Selected Items using the > button. To sort by a colour group, click
the Colour Group header at the top of the message list. (For this to
work, you cannot also be viewing threads, I have found.)
