There is some pattern to when this happens to me. It only happens to
me when I remove enough text so that the remaining text *can* fit all
in one screen. However, because of TB's free caret text editor, that
doesn't mean that all of that text has to be showing in one screen.
So it would seem that the routine used to define the scroll bar does
not look at what is visible, but rather, what *should* be visible.
If I am right in my analysis of this bug, then the routine that
determines the existance of the scroll bar should look at both where
the text ends, and where the cursor is located. Then the scroll bar
should be drawn based on which is further away from the start of the
message.
