No - we're talking about the ordinary user (those for whom all
software is *really* written) who just want the message editor in TB
to work *exactly* how they have configured it.
There's no bloat called for - the code is all there already. There are
no new options needed - they're all there too. /You/ won't have to
change a darned thing. It already does what you need. Nobody's going
to change that. A mode of the TB editor that *you* don't use doesn't
work as it should. That has nothing to do with (and no impact on) the
way you use it and wish to continue using it. Why start a fight with
people who genuinely *need* it changed?
