of "Two Format Questions":

Ah-ha  ... there's the sucker! By "blank line" I mean you have to have
one completely clear blank line between paragraphs.

Like this ^^^^.

See?  That's  three  paragraphs  now.  This is the only way TB can see
where one paragraph ends and another begins when using the auto-format
features of the editor. Use Ctrl-Shift-F to toggle it on/off.
