Jasmine works out at 13 per hour and I use it a lot as one just buys a
packet in a shop. As said my mail server sits in the USA and they have
a system where I cannot send mail via MY smtp in the USA. I know its
relaying via MY server so it should be none of jasmins business but
whatever, I cannot. So having to switch smtp whenever I change logon
is quite a pain but jasmine is the cheapest. Very useless for big
downloads but then I can use KSC.
Internet Thailand sucks here in Phuket

I change to much via isps and then you get those relaying error
messages...

yes, I know...

I can see that fun with them cutting cables all the time.
What they should do in Patong is to use that pirate TV cable network
from the ex Major of Patong who is on the run for some murder charge
(g) for internet usage... Nice fibreoptic cable everywhere and all it
does is lousy rippoff movies and sex channels at night....
ADSL: a lot I guess. Well the way I understand it the next crook wanting to
be PM has a friend who is an even bigger crook (that owner of Harrods)
and they seem to have that current rippoff money laundering project in
Kamala which will never make one cent unless they get the casino for
which licenses have already been sold to MGM I heard. My suspicion is
that if that guy becomes PM, Phuket duty free may be pushed through
with the casino. Its about the only way in which bangkoks politicians
would ever make any money out of making Phuket dutyfree (g) which is I
guess it hasnt happened yet.
ISDN is coming but its ISDN to the exchange, you still dial a
number... and there is still somewhere inside an analogue switch...
What I need is satelite down, phone up but Hughes system went together
with Shinawatra which is about the worst possible choice for cheap
internet.
As soon as I am within reach of any USA satelite down I will grab it...
but not if its via a Thai isp!!
Anyway, lets talk off line and remember with your next visit, I have a
handphone...
Best regards,
tracer
