Looking more attractive is the point, but attractive to whom?  As The
Bat! is a Windows program, I suggest it should be more attractive to
mainstream Windows users, and using some of the more usual Windows
"conventions" if that's the right word.

Right now I'm using the Beta version of Becky 2, and its got threading,
the option to use counters on replies (I've seen this come up recently
TBUDL), the option to use proportional fonts or an external text editor,
plug-ins that allow PGP and the ability to zip files on the fly without
a zip program.  Its far from perfect, but again its getting there.  But
most of all, I am using it because I like the look and "feel" of it, and
it does what I want it to.  If only The Bat.........

I think its now time this discussion went over to TBOT.
