A Replied msg filter, when triggered automatically, would observe
the Source folder designation, filter string specification and other
conditions set in the Advance panel. You may set up a Replied msg
filter where it would move msgs to trash only from the Inbox, and
only when the msg belongs to a certain color group (if I understand
your purpose correctly).

So, are you still having the problem? (IIRC, you now also store your
"to be answered" msgs in a separate folder, not Inbox. After all
those changes you've made, are you still experiencing the problem.)

Ok, my best guess is that you parked those "to be answered" msgs in
the first place, then you use a filter (with a hotkey, probably) to
move them to trash. When moving a parked msgs manually (not by
filter), TB would ask you whether you want to move parked msgs as
well. If you answer yes, TB would unpark the msgs and move them.
When moving parked msgs with a filter (either auto, manual, or by
hotkey), TB won't ask. Instead, it would just *COPY* the parked msgs
to the destination. IOW, you'll end up with two parked msgs, one in
the original folder, the other in the destination folder.
