But Tom was choosing "Check PGP signature"... and couldn't understand why
he was asked for his passphrase and nothing else happened. It was because
he never asked for the message to be decrypted... only the signature to be
checked, which is what the Plugin happily performed. Now, he was asked for
his passphrase because the message *had* to be decrypted before the
signature could be checked, and the passphrase is required for that
function because his Private Key is used to decrypt the message.
Granted, there are not many situations that would warrant a signature
check on an encrypted message... and not want the decrypted message
presented in some form. ;o)
