TB *always* substitutes TABs with spaces. The TAB is converted at the
moment you type it and never exists in any other form than a string of
spaces. Other MUAs may well embed a real TAB character (Ctrl-I, hex
09) into the text. The signature destruction occurs at the point TB
replaces the received TAB character with spaces. Those it generates
never existed anyway so there is no problem of signature destruction.
