Have you checked where you %Cursor macro is in the tempalte? If it is
not at the beginning of the line, it will also not be in the
begginningof the line in your reply. Thus, you can force an
x-character indent this way.

Again, I suspect something about the arrangement of the macros within
the template. Woudl you mind posting the template here?
