Thank you very much. I am still thinking about this program BAT.
I am not sure if it is worth the $$$. I have a problem with
Outlook Express with the server info that is under tools/accounts.
It happened 2 months ago. It is suppose to read:
Incoming mail-- mail.tmlp.com
Out Going mail-- mail.tmlp.com
User ut895x
But it wants to read like this on it's own:
Incoming mail-- localhost
Out Going mail-- mail.tmlp.com
User ut895x/mail.tmlp.com
The first week it did this the mail server at TMLP did not accept
the setting like this and would not give me the mail.
After a little while it sometimes gave the mail. Sometimes not.
Now it seems it doesn't care which way it is. I get the mail almost
always now, without having to reset the proper information in the
server info window or setting.
I have tried uninstalling this Outlook 2 times, the last time
I even deleted the folder that is left behind after the uninstall.
I reloaded again the whole program, rebooted and all the same info
came back, fully configured, totally, like it never was touched.
Even if I change the info to the correct settings. It will stay that
way while the computer is on. Close it, open it, it is the way
I reset it. But when I reboot or shutdown the computer and bring
it back up---it's changed back again to the wrong setting. Even it
I erase all the info and add it back like a new account, does not
work--still it returns the the wrong setting on reboot.
So I got this BAT to see if it could keep the proper setting--really--
as a test. It DOES. Why, then does Outlook Express change?
No one knows. Plus I thought the ability to combine all my email
programs was cool.
So I am still deciding if this is what I want (the BAT).
Since the TMLP mail server seems to give me my mail now with the
wrong settings.
Thanks to all who helped me and thank you Dierk for your concern.
God Bless and thank Jesus for the breaking of the wall! Amen
