Well, this answers one of my concerns. I was hoping this wouldn't be
the case. So, the only time you're secure is when the PGP Disk isn't
mounted.

I share your concern. Though users of TB! have had message bases
corrupt, I've been using TB! since April, 1999 and I'm yet to have one
of these message bases corrupt and I have message bases here
containing in excess of 8000 messages.  I have over 400MB of message
data in my archive and mail directories.
