I'm replacing Outlook across my company's network. Today, I asked for
recommendations to replace the calendar and alarm functions of
Outlook. Thanks to all who responded.

Remind me is exactly what I was looking for. It has a very flexible
alarm schedule, it take up very little memory, and it can minimise to
the system tray, so being very unobtrusive.

Remind me can also launch external programs and send reminder emails.
However, I haven't managed to get the mailing function working with TB
-- but I haven't spent a lot of time trying.

After half a day of use, I've come to the conclusion that Remind me is
a great companion to TB for anyone trying to replace Outlook.

Thanks and HTH,
