[...] Marck, may I ask you to elaborate on that a little? I'm about to get my desktop back from the shop, so I'm going to try to "synchronize" it with my new notebook. Is this how I would start? 1. Install another copy of TB! on my desktop computer. 2. Backup the system on my notebook computer. 3. Copy the backup file to removable storage, e.g., a Zip disk. 4. Using the "restore" function on the desktop, update the desktop to match the notebook. Is that it? Okay, after that, does it matter which system becomes the "master"? E.g., say I will normally use the notebook as my "everyday" computer. Then, say, for reasons of convenience, I use the desktop to download some e-mail (and maybe add a new folder) without first "synchronizing" it with the notebook. How would I get the two systems "synchronized" again? Or would I be out of luck in that case? Does it work in the same manner as the "synchronization" process that goes on between my Palm Pilot and my computer? I.e., I press the "Sync" button on the cradle and the program figures out which information belongs on each device to bring them both up-to-date with each other? How about a step-by-step tutorial? :) -- Joe Finocchiaro mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- ________________________________________________________ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
