Allie,
> Since using TB!, I've always seen reported problems with HP problems > that change over time as Ritlabs tries to rectify the problem. A more general reply from a developer. HP printer drivers are hell on earth to develop for, as their drivers are quite unlike most other printers on the planet. It's a very common problem with any program that prints. About the only suggestions to date are updated printer drivers, or use the Windows Deskjet 500 driver. Some HP printers are far worse than others and I see a few listed here that give problems with a whole range of software. HP are far from helpful and from the research I've done, the developer (of say The Bat) are the last people that should be blamed. Blame is wholly the fault of HP IMO. Try installing a Windows Deskjet 500 (or is it 550) printer driver and print using that and see if there's a difference. >From a customer support point of view my answer is always; "buy a better printer." Just make sure it's not a HP :) No doubt I'll get flamed but believe me all my printing issues for my customers come down to HP printers. With only the odd exception with other makes. This issue only affects some HP printers and both I'm well aware of have been mentioned here. some of the 600 and 800 range. The 990Cxi is not one of them, which is seen by it working OK. Try the default Windows printer driver (above) and you should find it works a treat. Not to you specifically Allie, of course. There's not a *whole* lot the developers of The Bat can do, however it's no reason why they can't fiddle trying. Just don't waste too much time on it, as HP are not the best company to get solutions from. Again HP printer drivers are very different to most printer drivers. Epson's are hard to beat for good all round drivers, which cover every possible software print job IMO.
