Actually, for my own reasons (as stated in another message in this
thread), I don't advise to disable PGP wrap settings.

As I've mentioned before - that strategy only really works if you only
use PGP with a particular type of message editor. If you need to use
PGP for wider uses, with a variety of editors, a wrap setting in PGP
can be very useful.

So - instead of simply advising people to disable PGP wrapping, I
usually recommend finding relative settings that work with a variety
of different editors.

Auto-format in TB! will no more mess up PGP signatures than will
auto-wrap (in other words, if relative wrap settings are properly set,
it won't mess anything up).

Auto-format only messes things up when you want to make a list, or
short lines - with no blank line in between (auto-format wants to wrap
all lines not separated by a blank line into single paragraphs).

Still - this has nothing to do with messing up PGP signatures.

I disagree (see above). What you really need to do is think about how
each editing option works, then use them accordingly. "Auto-format"
will wrap text to the very same column as "auto-wrap" will, so if
one's PGP wrap is set to a greater number, messages will not be
re-wrapped by PGP, and signatures will be fine.
