I was merely responding to the idea of using the integrated version
of PGP that comes with TB!. It doesn't really make sense using it
unless it's under the most exceptional circumstances or else the user
will run into incompatibilities with most other PGP users.

I already responded to what you're saying here now. If you wish to use
a digital signature without the other party having to learn how to use
PGP and manipulate public keys etc., then S/MIME is the way to go and
this is the likely reason why it seems to be more popularly used out
there.

If you can't make the tool simple to use then no one will use it
especially if it isn't a tool that is perceived as terribly important.
As soon as the typical user meets PGP, they don't wish to learn about
it because of the learning curve ... the usual response... 'Why learn
all this stuff anyway?? Is it really that necessary?? I have nothing
to hide.' :-)
