I'm not saying it's the correct way. I don't think anyone has said
this.

We've already stated that it's a work-around until Ritlabs fixes
things so the user whichever of the two methods s/he likes. The
discussions have been about how to use S/MIME using the MS CryptAPI
since the internal implementation seems to be broken in the current
TB! release.
