It's a non-beta post-release fix version <g>.

Because I (aka "the Moderator") am unhappy with version 'h' since it
has led to many problems with folks unable to read (let alone verify)
S/MIME signed messages. I think the list recommended "current" version
should talk of the most correct release.

I think they may be waiting for feedback on the quality. Me? I've seen
enough to know that 'i' is kosher. 'j' is just as good and, next week,
I'm likely to change the footer again. I'm not happy with leaving 'h'
in the footer since it gives the impression that 'h' is "it", which it
certainly is *not*!
