The old zonealarm has been broken so if its the old 18 months version
an update to the new v3 I think is in order.
I myself like zone alarm not for the actual firewall part but for
eacatly the noticed filtering of user specified attachments...
My real firewall is a router and ip sharer...
As it is unable to do reverse lookup to my system....

One click as user on something you donot understand and all your
internet access may be gone.
Happened to a customer just after I left on a 2 day trip and I had to
call a friend in and ask him to visit the guy and kill off zone
alarm...
