My resonse to this:

I never did like how it looked.  On some versions I used there were no
blank lines inserted.  I believe that what I am useing now does add one
blank line.  I did not want lots of them but I thought that one, or at
the most two would look better.

I get lots of mail know with very large or long signatures.  Some do add
all kinds of things. I just did not like the final look.  Did not really
like to period either but tryied it out.
