Is it OE or is it USA programming? I prefer top-replying, don't often re-read the original post, dislike the colorization that must be waded through in a reply to read the the current (answer) post. If I can't remember the original post, dropping to the bottom to read the original is nicer than wading, especially since I often don't maximize emails as I go through them.
The reason I ask about "American" is because I believe Netscape, Eudora, Pegasus, web services, etc., all may use top reply. Please explain about the signature problems you mention. I am not certain I understand.
