Thanks for your thoughts Jan - I personally think this is a great
list, but I'm just worried that many of the very new users I'm seeing
will be intimidated by the techier stuff. Many of them are still at a
very basic level and may feel overwhelmed by it all. Those of us new
to The Bat! but who are more familiar with PC's in general probably
don't feel that way at all. :-) It also seems to be a busy list -
since joining I've had 181 messages in less than 3/4 days - that may
be a bit much for some of the very new to handle. I'll certainly
encourage users to come but I'd hate for the list to scare them off by
making them feel that The Bat! is aimed at techier people if you
understand me, and I worry that may happen with some of them - and
they are just the ones who I feel would benefit most from a basic
simple users list.
