Why not compare this list to a newspaper: you'll only read what
catches your interest, the rest you just skip. And sometimes you'll
read something that you didn't look for, but it still helps you. And
don't tell me everybody understands everything he or she reads in the
paper.

AFAIK (as far as I know) nobody on this list ever replied in a bad
manner to a simple question - everybody got answers, not talking of
the speed they arrived (this is a round the globe list, and it's
great). And I've also seen threads when even very techie people
replied to simple question/answer threads like 'oh, I didn't know that
either! ;-)' This is what this list is all about: We all sit in the
same bat-boat. Hope this encourages you and your friends. :-)
