I've got a filter set-up for any mails received from my family to be
filtered to the family folder. I did have it set as automatic on the
'read' filter, but as mentioned, even when deleting, it would still
filter to the family folder. I've now set this filter to manual and try
to run it, but it does nothing :-( I've a few others that were working
as automatic, but now manual, don't do anything?

I've also been thinking how I deal with my mails and I want to manually
filter them rather than automatic, apart from TB! related ones (which
still works).

I've done this, now waiting for a mail to test it. This could therefore
be my test mail.....?

Thanks,

Chris.
