Demon will let you specify a user name in the pop3 authentication so
that it will only download that user's email. I can't remember the
exact syntax, but I think you specify something like "webbit+nigel" as
the user name in the pop3 authentication (see Demon's web site for
exact details).
In TB, you would then create 4 separate accounts and have each setup
with their specific pop3 details ("webbit+gillian", "webbit+lynsey",
etc).
Essentially this moves the sorting to Demon's end and each user only
has to download mail specifically for them.
If you want to continue with TB doing the sorting, you need to go to
the Accounts->Sorting office/Filters options and add a new incoming
mail filter for each of the other three users (set filter string
to the user name and a location of "Recipient") and get it to move the
email to the Inbox of the relevant user (click the button next to the
"Move message to folder" box).
