I don't understand why people who uses on-access scanner (and you do, if I don't misunderstand you) want integrate Virus protection with TB!, but perhaps I miss something. When you open an attachment the mail agent either: a) Displays the file with it's internal viewer or b) Save the attachment as separate file (and perhaps ask the shell to open it with the associated application) In case a): The internal viewers of TB! can't activate viruses (correct me if I'm wrong...). In case b): your on-access scanner will check the file before it is opened. You don't have to configure TB! for that. And if you don't open attachments, then your machine can't caught viruses with TB! Reading mails is safe. (E-mail agents using MS HTML rendering engine is a different story... with those agents, reading an email can active virus, since the MS HTML stuff is too powerful and may contains bugs that virus can exploit. I remember the iframe thing...) -- Best regards, Daniel Dekany ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.61 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
