I do use the on-access scanner and you just gave me the argument I missed. Still, I would rather have a virus scanner preventing an infected file even to reach my harddisk. With the on-access scanner, my disk could be swarming with infected files, (provided I don't occasionally or regularly do a full disk scan). Maybe it's paranoia, but I would like my systems to be as safe as they can possibly be. On the other hand, I still would like to know how these TB plugins work, where to get them, etc. As much for technical curiosity as for trying to find out if I need to do more for my anti virus protection. -- Best regards, Chris.
